Class #7 Great outfit (listening) - Teachers Hazel & Abi

Teachers Hazel (me) & Abigail

Teacher Abi started the class using a song. students made couples and teacher Abi gave to each couple the lyrics of the song in desorden and students had to listen the song first and look for the orden of the song. then teacher pasted on the withboard parts of the lyrics of the song in desorder, then students listen the song 2 times more and they had to organized the lyrics.



Teacher Hazel presented the topic, pasting on the withboard flashcards with the previous vocabulary and asking to the students if they remembered the 8 items. then students practices the pronounciation of each word 2 times. Then, teacher Hazel presented the questions "what is this? & what are these" and she explained the meaning of each word and how answer those question using "it's a and they.are"are. 
then students made couples and practice asking each other, using little shapes of the items of clothing.
  • Clothes line. teachers paste on aline of wool from side to side of the classroom, then teachers hunged little pictures of the 8 items already presented. (jeans, shoes, dress, etc) 

Students made 2 groups. Teacher Abi said an item of clothing and students had to touch that picture. who touched the picture first will get a point for their team.


Note: that activity was useful for 
recognition.





  • Competition clothing. students made 2 groups and made 2 lines in front of the whiteboard. Teachers put on the flour some clothes. teacher Hazel said an item and one member of each group had to go and put on the item that was mention.for example: teacher Hazel said "dress" and students had to look for the dress and put it on. the person who put it on first got a point fortheir team.

Note: students realy enjoyed that activity and they participate with enthusiasm.

  1. Hi T Hazel! I really like the way that you explained all the activities. Also, Ss enjoyed your class as us. The last activity that you presented was funny. At the end of the class Ss showed that they learned. Good job!
